It’s Not How Much You Know…

In relationships, we have many people who await to discover more about the other person before they take courage to start that relationship.

“I’ve got to be sure that person is suitable for me first.”

“I’ve got to know him or her better.”

My response is, “so what if you know him/her better?” Does it really make you love him/her more? Perhaps so. Or Not.

It’s not how much you know about that person, but how much you care about him

It could be potential love if you.. care about what you know about him, and care even more about what you DON’T KNOW about him.

You see, love is not about the knowledge, it’s really about the affection, hence, the care and the concern for that someone. It stems from that emotional end.

Instead of wondering how much you know, learn to know how much you care.

  1. Yeah. I agree to you that love is not about how much you know about that person, but how much you care about him.

Indeed, when we derive love from an emotion instead of just quantitative knowledge, the relationship becomes more meaningful and purposeful.
    Thanks for the note.
