5 Empowering Thoughts To Change Your Life And Get That Job

June 12, 2008

During these 2 days of emotional and impactful training, the participants shared with me today about their new empowering paradigms. In turn, I was touched by their sincerely, understanding and willingness to take charge of what they have.

This has been another run of “Sayang Kerja, Sayang Keluarga” (SK2) (Love Your Work, Love Your Family). The original title of this training is “Life Empowerment Skills” where participants renew their mindset, learn how to seek the jobs and be empowered for life.

I was extremely pleased that the partipants have learned the different ways to handle the various life issues and concerns as well as be more proactive in their job seeking skills and efforts. This will set a solid foundation for a leap frog improvement in their families and lives.

Here are some of the additional thoughts to help empower the individual towards a better life and job:

1. Your past issues and your present situation do not have to be the same for your future.

2. In order to change your life to what you want it to be, you’ve got to first believe you can change.

3. Extending further, you’ve got to want to take control of your life badly enough to finally assert the control for your thoughts, your emotions and your behavior.

4. When you love your potential job, you’re less likely to be that picky. (Of course, that doesn’t mean you don’t seek improvement at work.) You’ll give yourself a chance to love that job.

5. You have to be bold and remain calm when you handle tough interview questions. Tough questions have the tendency to destabilize the job seekers. Succumb to them and you’ll come off as unimpressive. Boldness and calmness will enable you to emerge triumph from that job interview.

These thoughts have to be reflected and digested before you can comprehend to apply. Work on them as much as possible to gain greater empowerment.

Wishing you well on life’s journey to Excel Beyond Excellence!
