Proven Tips To Boost Your Public Speaking And Presentation Skills (Part 24)

Back at my own Club’s meeting last night, we’ve had a wonderful time with the speeches and table topics. A number of guests and other evaluators turned up as well. A cosy and heart-warming mood indeed. This was what I’ve always liked about Toastmasters’ meeting.

At Telok Blangah Toastmasters meeting last night, we had a couple of presenters who spoken on organizing their speeches. Although they are new speakers from our Speechcraft workshop, I noted the effort they’ve put in and the improvement they’ve made. I’ll say that’s no mean feat!

In addition, I also shared my comments with them after the meeting:

1. Paint a vivid scenario after your technical descriptions.

2. Check if the technical jargons get too overwhelming.

3. Instead of reciting about expertise and resume to impress, it’s better to impact the audience through careful crafting of how to present your work skills.
